COUNSELOR'S CORNER
STRATEGY OF THE MONTH
In April students will be introduced to yoga. They will learn about some poses to use to help calm down when experiencing strong emotions. (click here) In addition, I will review the strategies that they have been learning throughout the year.

CLASSROOM LESSONS IN APRIL
All Grades: During the month of April, I will be sharing with students the legally-required lesson related to sexual abuse prevention. Classroom teachers will share in their newsletters when their specific lessons will occur. Please reach out with any questions.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Thatcher

WELL NOTE
Make it common knowledge in your family that drug use is unacceptable. Use every instance you see as a teachable moment, including movie scenes and television shows. Prevention is best through repetition.
