Registration Information Grades K-12
Welcome to Granville Schools – one of the top schools in the State of Ohio! We are happy you have chosen our District as your home and we look forward to sharing in the education experience of your child. The enrollment process outlined below is for all incoming students for this current school year or for next school year. If you have any questions or need assistance during enrollment, please contact the District Registrar.
To begin enrollment, follow the process below.
- Click here to complete the GEVSD Pre-Registration form.
- Once you have submitted the GEVSSD Pre-Registration form, you will receive an email within 24-48 hours explaining how to set up your parent PowerSchool account. At times, these emails end up in your spam folder. Please check there if you do not receive the instructional email within that time frame.
- Once you have created your PowerSchool account, you will need to login to PowerSchool to complete the enrollment forms and attach the required documents. Go to gran.powerschool.com/public . Once logged in, on the left hand side of the page, click on the “Forms” tile. Then you will select “Enrollment” from the tab choices across the top. You will see two form choices, “General” and “Registration”. The General form is optional and should only be completed if applicable. However, all eleven pages of the Registration forms are required to be completed with attachments. It is important to remember to hit "save" or "submit" at the bottom of each of the pages to ensure the information is saved.
- Please note: Registration cannot be completed and your student may not begin school without the following documents. If you already have a student in the district, you will still need to provide this documentation to complete the registration process.
- Original Birth Certificate of the student
- Immunization Record - here are the requirements for incoming students:
Incoming Kindergarten – all childhood vaccines should be up to date which includes doses due at age 4 or 5 - typically, Dtap, Polio, MMR and Varicella.
Incoming 7th grade- one Tdap after age 10 and one MCV4
Incoming 12th grade – a second MCV4
Dtap/Tdap – tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis
MCV4 – Meningococcal
MMR – Measles, Mumps and Rubella - Proof of Residency (2) - one of these: ease, purchase contract, or mortgage statement; and one of these: current utility bill dated within the last 30 days, or official confirmation of address change filed with the US Postal Service
- Parent driver's license
- Current IEP/ETR/504 Plan (if applicable).
- Current Documentation of Custody (if applicable).
