Communications Plan

The Granville Exempted Village School District Communications Plan promotes an open flow of information, and supports two-way, mutually beneficial connections between the school district and the community for the purpose of building and maintaining support for the district.

Communication objectives include (method for measuring each inside parentheses):

  • Focus communication resources to support the district’s mission, vision and values, and strategic priorities (rebrand around the Project Based Learning concept).
  • Instill confidence in the Granville Schools, including its staff, programs and services (biennial community survey)
  • Assist the Granville Board of Education, staff and schools in promoting Granville Schools’ programs, services and initiatives (increase in attendance, use of website and newsletters)
  • Establish direct support to schools by providing comprehensive communication services (annual staff survey)

Granville Schools provides a variety of communication tools for students, staff, parents, residents and the media to be informed and in touch with the district.

Website
The Granville Schools website provides in-depth information about all aspects of the school district. Each Granville school has its own page within the district site. Partnerships with supporting organizations and the greater Granville community are also highlighted on the site.
