The Granville Schools have updated facilities to make them more energy efficient. The district tracks energy use/cost on a monthly basis and comparing the use/cost to the previous years. This program has resulted in significant savings and reduction of energy use.
The district utilizes a Single Stream Recycling program, which is a technology that allows each school to place all acceptable recycled materials into a single dumpster without having to sort the items by various categories. The goal is to reduce materials placed in the waste dumpster by 50 percent.
